Rookie Rivals round 1: ALI HILL analyses Tim Valentine Vs Arnold Hunt

By Leon Watson · October 23, 2017

Tim Valentine Vs Arnold Hunt

Our first Rookie Rivals face-off saw club stalwart Arnold Hunt take on Tim Valentine.

Tim is a relative newcomer to the club but has quickly established himself as a key member of several teams.

With his rating of 129, is the top seed.

But Arnold is a wily, experienced old campaigner who always, always has a trick or two up his sleeve.

Who would win in this first round battle?

First up it was Tim with the white pieces, and it is ALISTAIR HILL (200ECF) with the analysis:

After that barnstormer, Arnold needed to get back in the match.

So, 2-0 to Tim – and the top seed advances to the next round.
