By Leon Watson · October 7, 2019

Contest of Kings II

Battersea’s battle royal continues this week as the Contest of Kings reaches the quarter-final stage.

Our grueling multi-format tournament is down to eight pretenders to the throne ready to duke it out over two nights to see who advances.

Here are the pairings:

Tuesday

Phil Makepeace vs Adam Bukojemski
Bao Nghia Dong vs Viktor Stoyanov

Wednesday

Mike Healey vs Rhys Cumming
David Okike vs Blair Connell

Matches start at 7.15pm sharp. Anyone late will be hung, drawn and then quartered, as is customary.

After four losers are executed, the final four left will meet at a further date to joust-it-out in the semi-final.

Then, after the final contest, we will have our one true king.

Long live the king!
