Welcome to the Battersea Virtual Chess Club – the world’s first “real” chess club in cyberspace.
The virtual club is modeled exactly on Battersea’s venue, the Battersea Labour Club in Falcon Road. It has everything, even the dartboard, bar and dark blue fleur de lisle carpet!
Inside it will be like any other club night – there will be club members, old and new. You can play a casual or serious game, just sit down on a table and start playing.
You can watch some streamed chess, perhaps the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour or the GingerGM channel.
We’re meeting every Wednesday from 6.30pm. It’s easy to drop in, you just head over to masterspace.io, create an account and find us.
