The evening is FREE – but donations are welcome!

For background, AlphaZero is a self-learning AI machine developed by the Google-owned company DeepMind. In 2018 it won a 1000-game match against the strongest traditional chess engine, Stockfish.

Matthew and Natasha wrote a book called “Game Changer” about AlphaZero, how it taught itself chess strategy and some of the beautiful games that it played.

The book has been generating a lot of interest including amongst the very top players in the chess world.

Doors will open as usual at around 7.15pm. Be there sharp!
